Design for 36 social housing in hoogezand sappemeer. The project is conceived as a block/island where two streets along the edges and by the project two blocks walk from the district to the Winschoterdiep.
The routes and sight lines from the area give rise for a horizontal and vertical offsets of the blocks.
By a kink in the Middle, the homes to shift, born from the District of diagonal lines of sight on the dike.
The public nature of this car-free ‘ internal streets ‘ is enhanced by the wooden plinth and the facade benches.
The black wood refers to old port streets and connects the area with the dike.
With smart floor plans, a clear concept and nice material use is a new standard for social housing.
The properties on the Narcissus Street connect the area with the Winschoterdiep.

This creates streets that go up towards the Winschoterdiep. The public character of this car-free streets is enhanced by the wooden plinth and the facade benches.
